Woman Injured While Trying to Break Up Dog Fight

smerikalOne of the most frustrating thing about accidents is how they can come out of nowhere. Whether at the daily work routine or out for a walk or driving to the story, something unforeseen can happen that affects life for weeks, months, or even years to come. It’s impossible to be fully prepared for such an event, but a good attorney can certainly help with the aftermath, making sure everyone who has suffered gets the financial compensation or support necessary to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible.

Authorities in Mesa, Arizona report a woman was severely injured after she attempted to stop her two dogs from fighting with each other. According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was trying to break up a fight between her two dogs – a Rottweiler and a pit bull. One of them bit her on the forearm.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital in Scottsdale for serious bites on her forearm and wrist. Authorities report her injuries were not life-threatening.

Reports state the dogs were contained at their owner’s home, at her request.
