Neither suffered life-threatening injuries. One worker is fifty-two years old and the other forty-six years old. The site of the incident was on I-605 where multiple carpool lanes are being joined together. While traffic was stopped by the accident, the freeways were quickly re-opened. OSHA and the construction company handling the project are investigating what lead to the accident in the first place.
